Early production walnut end tables table designed by Lewis Butler for Knoll. Simple streamlined design with classic shadow box frame and floating top.  Some wear on each top consistent with age.  They were later covered with (included)glass tops. A Knoll Industries bowtie label is on the underside dating from the early 1950s. Comes from the home of the original owner, an architect who had all original Knoll furniture, most of it purchased in the 1950s & 60s directly from Knoll in NY.
