Set of 8 Saarinen Armless Executive Chairs for Knoll
It’s a treat to find a set of 8 of these Armless Executive Chairs in such good condition! Introduced in 1950, and designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll, these #72 chairs are a staple of mid century design and incredibly comfortable. This set features a mix of chairs with slimmer and regular width walnut legs - almost indistinguishable when grouped together.
The chairs come from the home of the original owner, an architect who had all original Knoll furniture, most of it purchased in the 1950s & 60s directly from Knoll in NY. They reupholstered the chairs in 2005 in Knoll fabric (K3622 Balance, Driftwood) and are in great shape. They feature the original Knoll Industries bowtie label on the underside.
22” w x 18” d x 31.5
Seat 18.5”
