We try not to overuse the word special, yet with this table it must be used. A stunning hand-crafted John Widdicomb carved pedestal table with a four legged base on casters. The apron features a carved Greek key pattern with rope twist. The top surface is in near perfect condition; it is double banded with an almost herringbone grain. One 20.5 leaf came with table; two additional leaves were made for the table that do not have the Greek key carving. In order to accommodate so many leaves and people, each end has four newly added legs that tuck underneath the table when not in use, yet support the table when hosting large crowds. No detail was forgotten with this beautiful piece.
