Dóra Maurer Signed and Numbered Print

Celebrated Hungarian Postwar Contemporary artist, Maurer has a 60-year career. She works in almost every medium: film, photography, painting, sculpture and drawing. She is most recognized for her 1970s avant grade work. This piece was created in 1971 and showcases her geometric compositions and design. She is methodical with the composition she uses and often attributes her technique to a mathematical approach to the images, lines, colors, angles, and more.
