This is our favorite screen we’ve listed. Beautiful red background with detailed temple and village scene on the front and a nature scene with birds and flowers on the back. There is loss to the panel but only age commensurate and the imperfections not only make it authentic but also charming. Use behind a large sofa; as art on a large wall, or fortify the hinges and actually use as a room divider. Likely 19th century or earlier.
